PERFORMANCES
Two yearly performances will be open for BYB dancers. These performances are choreographed based on the number and ability of the dancers. Students are encouraged to participate and perform; after all, dance is a performing art and dancing on stage can only perfect it. These performances are not extravagant nor a display of fancy, expensive costumes. We make most of the costumes and props. BYB depends on parent or relative volunteers to help construct costumes, scenery, props, etc.
By offering child-friendly productions, BYB hopes to educate and enhance the quality of life of the community, as well as entertain and provide an hour full of color and fun.
Two common places where BYB performs are Singletary Center for the Arts and Lexington Children's Theatre. BYB also offers performances to public and private schools.
