Bluegrass Youth Ballet is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which relies on support from businesses,
individuals, foundations, and government agencies to survive and function. Typically, the income earned
from ticket sales and program services covers only 50 to 60 percent of operating expenses in arts and
cultural organizations, and BYB is among them.
Without your support, Bluegrass Youth Ballet could not produce quality programs. Your contribution to BYB
may be used for the purposes of:
- Underwriting tickets and transportation for at-risk school children in Kentucky
- Scholarships for dancer participation
- Performances at community events (which are free to the public)
- Offset costs (artistic, technical, administrative, etc.) of staging high quality productions,
which in turn allows us to keep ticket prices and dancer fees to a minimum
Any donation you make is tax-deductible, and Bluegrass Youth Ballet will provide you with a letter for
tax purposes. If you'd like, we can also list you in our performance programs.
